I am so happy to be a part of Kalon Prep and looking forward to working with students to foster their creativity, perseverance, problem solving, and so much more through art. I believe art is an important facet to nurture our ability to express ourselves when words are hard to find.
As an artist, I am well versed in many art forms, however my personal favorites are watercolor, oils, and ceramics. I enjoy
connecting art to my love of outdoors through plein air painting and subjects inspired by nature. My family and I like to go camping, canoeing, and winter snow sports.
Fun facts: I’m a proud mom to two awesome kids. I used to raise dairy goats and alpacas, but now I have 2 dogs and a cat. I also play a little classical guitar now and then.
