I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with students at Kalon Prep and assist them in preparing to reach their life goals. I earned an Associates Degree In Speech Communication from Bethel University in St. Paul, a BA in International Ministries from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University in Texas. I have worked in both secondary and higher education settings in 4 states. As a special education teacher, I have had the opportunity to teach or co-teach almost every core subject at the high school level..
Fun Facts about me: I have 4 grown children scattered from Vancouver BC to Bedford, Virginia. I have traveled to all 50 states, am a dual US/Canadian citizen, and have lived as far north as Alaska and as far south as Texas in 6 different states and two Canadian provinces. My hobbies include biking, running, gardening, quilting, reading, and traveling.
