Each student learns in an environment that is physically and emotionally safe.
Kalon Prep Academy will offer and maintain a safe place for students. The safety extends beyond physical safety and incorporates a sense of community, personal, and mental safety.

- Integrating curriculum whenever possible
- Using curriculum-related experiences such as field trips and outreach projects to complement and extend our curriculum and instruction

Kalon Prep Academy will offer a learning environment that supports student achievement, curiosity and access to meaningful staff engagement.
- Committing to a small student:staff ratio
- Hiring staff that is passionate about working with teenagers
- Providing on-site therapy, billed to insurance. Funds are available to help cover co-pays or if students are uninsured.
